Cackle Hatchery Catalog - Well it's been a few years and i had forgotten about ideal so my daughter and i ordered from cackle. Has anyone ever bought these kind of birds from them? I didn't pet them when chicks b/c i was too busy. They claim they ship pure bred poultry. If so and if you guys have pictures can you guys post some up so i can see what i will get if. I recieved a catalog from cackle hatchery (never ordered one) and was browsing through the pages. Between the chicks and the seed catalogs, it’s one of the few things i look forward to in winter to help pass the time daydreaming about spring! Hens are really sweet and friendly and i've ignored them. I really wanted a brown egg and i got it. As you might guess ees are my favorite breed and thinking that their name might have to be changed for common use scared me quite a bit.
